Cairo Highlights from Sharm El Sheikh by Plane

You will be picked up from your hotel at around 4 a.m. After your arrival in Cairo, your tour guide will meet you and accompany you throughout the tour. The excursion begins with a visit to the Egyptian Museum, which, in addition to its over 120,000 exhibits, also houses the golden coffin of Tutankhamun. Afterwards, you will enjoy your lunch. The rest of the excursion takes you to the great pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus. The pyramid tour ends at the Sphinx and the temple located around it. If time permits, you have the opportunity to end the day by driving to the Cairo bazaar before starting the return journey to Sharm el Sheikh. If the return flight from Cairo is late in the evening, we will spend some time visiting the London of the Middle Ages (Khan el Klalili market), Old Cairo, recently added to the UNESCO World Heritage list, or Cairo Festival City, an extra-large shopping mall (air-conditioned), one of the largest in the Middle East. Full of the most famous international brands, restaurants, cafes and a huge colorful dancing fountain, where you will be drawn to Cairo's chic, modern nightlife.

If we have time, we can make two characteristic visits to the Papyrus Museum and the Essential Oil Factory. These two attractions will familiarize you with the ancient Egyptian techniques of making papyrus and essences. These two interesting visits will increase your knowledge of daily life in ancient Egypt and will also be useful to the Egyptian farmers who work in these sectors and preserve these very old handicrafts from ancient Egypt.
