What makes Cable Car Olympic Tour With Museum a unique experience ?
The bridge took its name from the neighborhood on the left bank of the Miljacka, where Sarajevo’s Catholics resided. From 1918 to 1993 the structure bore the name, Principov Most (bridge), after Gavrilo Princip, who was only a few meters from this bridge when he assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sofie. This incident, known as the Sarajevo Assassination, led to the beginning of the First World War.
The Emperor’s Mosque is Sarajevo’s oldest mosque and one of the oldest in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is presumed that Isa Bey Ishaković, the founder of Sarajevo, had this place of worship built soon after the city’s founding in 1462 in honor of Sultan Mehmed II “the Conqueror”.

Established in 1864, Sarajevo Brewery is the oldest and most renowned brewery in Bosnia and Herzegovina, offering visitors a taste of history with its rich brewing tradition, and authentic beer flavors.
Glide effortlessly above Sarajevo in the Sarajevo Cable Car, offering a scenic ride with breathtaking panoramic views as you ascend to the historic Trebević Mountain. The 2,100 meter-long-system connected Bistrik, on the left side of the Miljacka, to Mt. Trebević, “the lungs of Sarajevo” and the top excursion site in town. The cable car will take us to the top of the mountain where we will talk more about the Winter Olympic Games.
It’s hard not to notice Trebević, with its distinctive peak towering over the south side of Sarajevo. Many generations of Sarajevans used to visit this area by cable car, which ran from Bistrik to the Olympic Bobsled tracks. The cable car was devastated during the war, and it is renovated in 2018. Today, the area is accessible by cable car, by foot or by a 20-minute car/taxi ride along the road to Jahorina via Vraca to reach Brus. Known as “the lungs of Sarajevo,” Trebević is the closest mountain that is reachable via the cable car from the heart of Stari Grad (Old Town), from the neighborhood of Bistrik.
Take a walk on the iconic Olympic bobsleigh track and be one of the few to experience the history and nature combined.
Wander through Sarajevo's historic bazaar, a vibrant hub of culture, crafts, and cuisine.
A unique landmark where East meets West in a stunning cultural blend.
Step into the legacy of the 1984 Winter Olympics at the Olympic Museum, where artifacts, stories, and memorabilia celebrate Sarajevo’s role as a proud Olympic host city.
