Parmesan Cheese and Balsamic Vinegar Tour with Ferrari Museum

You will start your day by visiting a dairy farm to learn something new about the production processes of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, from cows to wheels. The visit will be held directly by the producer's staff, so none of your questions will remain unanswered. The tour is followed by a guided tasting. Our second stop is a small farm where the family produces Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena for generations. They will show the production process and explain all the peculiarities of the Balsamic Vinegar, and why it is so highly appreciated even in haute cuisine. Taste different ages of locally produced balsamic vinegar at the end. Being in the area, your experience wouldn't be complete without visiting Ferrari Museum in Maranello, so to see the most famous supercar brand of all time, Ferrari, and to learn something new about its history during your free visit to the museum. At the end of the day, the driver will take you back to Bologna.

Pickup from Bologna city center - your hotel/BNB or Bologna Central Train Station. If your hotel is outside of the area (for example, Palazzo di Varignana or Hilton Garden North), pickup cannot be offered from there. Please contact us to arrange the closest available pickup location. Pickup from Bologna Train Station will be no later than 8:50 AM, so please plan your arrival by 8:30 AM. No late arrivals can be accommodated, even in the case of a strike or delays with arriving trains.

DAIRY FARM / First stop is a dairy farm, where Parmigiano Reggiano cheese is being produced. You will see all the stages of the production process of this certified bio farm, see the animals, and will have a guided tasting of different ages of Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, as well as freshly made ricotta.

BALSAMIC VINEGAR / Afterward, we will proceed with a guided visit to a traditional producer of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. You will learn everything about how this "black gold" is produced, see the barrels, and sample different ages of vinegar during a guided tasting.

At the end of the tour, you will have one hour to visit the Ferrari Museum in Maranello using the skip-the-line tickets we provide.

The driver will take you to Bologna.

• If you arrive by train, please be sure that your train arrives not later than 08:30 am, as it could take up to 15-20 minutes to find the correct exit from the undeground train station where most of high speed trains arrive. Pickup time from the train station is not later than 08:50 am.
