The church was built in honor of St. Mary, but since St. Ozana's relics are kept in the church, hence the double name of the church. The history of St. Mary's started in the first quarter of XIII century, specifically since 1221. Kotor's Main Gate is the largest and probably the most beautiful of the city's three gates. Dating from the 16th Century, this gate was erected during the time of Bernardo Renier. Its style combines Renaissance and Baroque elements.
"The Arms Square" is the main and the largest town square in Kotor, Montenegro. It hosts several stores, banks, cafés, bakeries, and pastry shops, as well as many important cultural-historical monuments. Its name hails from Venetian times when munitions were made and stored here.
