Jal Mahal (meaning "Water Palace") is a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city, the capital of the state of Rajasthan, India. The palace and the lake around it were renovated and enlarged in the 18th century by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Amber.

The royal cenotaphs, located outside the city walls, 15 km from Jaipur at the underneath Nahargarh Fort, Royal Gaitor Tumbas is the cremation ground of the Royal Maharajas of Rajasthan. Jal Mahal (Water Palace), a Rajput style architecture palace sits in the centre of the Mansarovar lake. With a total of nine hundred and fifty-three windows and standing up to a height of 15 meter, the five-storied palace was built for the royal ladies by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in the year 1799.
