What makes Exploring Aarhus: Culture and Heritage Walking Tour a unique experience ?

The museum was founded in 1859 and is Denmark's oldest public art museum outside of Copenhagen. It launched in 2004 with displays in a fresh new modern facility, and it is now one of Northern Europe's largest art museums. In addition to the enormous galleries with both permanent and changing exhibitions, there is an art shop, a dining café, and a restaurant. ARoS Aarhus Kunstmuseum is Denmark's second most visited museum, thanks to the circular skywalk "Your rainbow panorama" by Olafur Eliasson, which was completed in 2011.

KØN - Gender Museum  Denmark, formerly known as the Women's Museum, was established in 1982. It is a museum dedicated to the cultural history of gender and sexuality in Denmark. The goal of its permanent and temporary exhibitions is to give schoolchildren educational outreach programs, sex education, gender equality, and democracy.

Aarhus Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in the Romanesque style located on the port side of Store Torv's central plaza (Large Square). It is the country's longest and tallest church, measuring 93 meters long and 96 meters tall.

The Viking Museum is a small underground museum in the heart of Aarhus, located at Sankt Clemens Torv beneath the Nordea bank building, which was built in 1968. It is located directly on the site of archaeological excavations that revealed several Viking Age structures, artifacts, and human skeletal pieces. The museum includes information about Viking Age Aarhus in general, as well as copies of artifacts on exhibit at the considerably bigger Moesgaard Museum to the south of Aarhus.

Dokk1 or Dokken is one of Aarhus' government buildings,  and also serves as a public library and a cultural center in Aarhus. It is located in the city center and is part of the broader Urban Mediaspace Aarhus development project. Dokk1 also houses the municipal public services department, theatrical scenes, businesses, and a vast automated underground parking complex.
