The township of Soweto and the Apartheid museum is a must visit if travelers wants to experience and enjoy the history, culture, traditions of the people of South Africa. The township of Soweto have been established in the 1930 when the colonial Government began to separate blacks from white, started to create black township. The township is very rich in history and traditions as the migrant mine workers from neighboring countries started to migrate to Johannesburg for greener pastures and ended up residing in the Soweto township. Mandela house is a world class museum which showcase the history of Nelson Mandela and his family. Visitors would experience how Nelson Mandela lived before he was arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment and his stay at the house after he was released from Prison in 1990. The museum showcase how his wife Winnie Mandela survived during the Apartheid era while Mandela was in Prison.

The client would see the memorial that has been built to honour the pupils who has been killed by the Apartheid police during the 1976 Soweto uprising. The student uprising was against the Afrikaans language to be used as a medium of instructions in South African schools.
